In the time of my 8-year teaching, I have had amazing children, and have really liked the experience of continuously coming across contemporary methods of treatment to a topic to make it fantastic and pleasurable for the person I tutor.
My teaching style
The training philosophy of mine is focused on a learner: my purpose is always to create an encouraging, stimulating and warm environment for learning the ways to thrive.
I respond immediately to the requirements of each and every learner I teach, modelling my teaching style so that it fully complies with their individuality and abilities.
While they're working on practical things related to their studies, I suppose that students learn most effectively. This speaks of using games, writing tasks, drawing pictures, making rhymes, presentations, and other sorts of collaboration, that makes students energised and motivated when it comes to the material.
I explain competently and thoroughly, promptly analysing areas for maintenance, later applying simple pattern spotting techniques (when necessary). I concentrate on making elementary activities for the scholar produce their own sense of the subject. It is a true pleasure to spot interesting and new styles of presenting the topic so that it is interesting and always fresh for both sides.
The psychology of tutoring maths
Through encouragement, humour, and patience, I permanently strive to teach my children that they can much more than they think.
I suppose that my desire to match teaching strategies in compliance with the necessities of students, subject matter, and person demographics are all important for me to be efficient as a tutor.
My teaching is based on the idea that the only way to learn mathematics is to do maths. Although the theory is worthy, the real understanding comes through solving mathematical issues, either computational, theoretical, or both.
I have also realised that creating assignments which directly relate to the scholar's personal life can expedite their learning the theme and understanding its application.
